professional full time discus fish breeder and hatchery. The Rocky Mountain
Discus Web Site is not an automated online vendor without a phone. You can call
our office at 812 868 8631 and speak to a live person. We do not list discus
fish prices and
availability on our website as availability constantly changes. If you send an
email you will receive a current availability and price list that is updated
daily.
In order to achieve the level of customer care we are accustomed to providing,
speaking directly over the phone ensures proper communication when you are
ordering discus fish. You can order discus fish and pay by credit card over the
phone or you can order discus fish by email and pay with PayPal if you prefer.
Information On Our Discus Fish Shipping
The discus fish we ship are carefully prepared prior to shipping. We fast each discus for a day and perform a large water change to clean them out so the shipping water remains clean. The discus fish are double bagged in 4 mil. thick bags with a liner between the bags. The bags are filled with shipping water and oxygen and placed in a styro box. The insulated styro boxes are placed into cardboard boxes. State of the art heat packs are used to maintain a constant temperature for the discus. There is an art to properly shipping discus and our years of experience ensure your discus will arrive in fine condition.
During our years in Colorado we developed a winter shipping technique that is second to none.
We ship our discus fish by Express Courier.
The discus leave late in the evening and arrive the following morning. This method is faster and less expensive than expedited air freight such as Delta Dash. We guarantee live healthy arrival of your discus fish.
In order to make it easy to try our discus, we do not have a minimum order. Our discus are healthy, colorful, fast growing and high quality. Our discus fish will meet or exceed your expectations. If you plan to be in the area we welcome you to schedule a visit.
